Pai Gow Poker

The game of Pai Gow poker is yet another of the many different casino poker games that can be found in our featured online casinos, this one has 53 cards in play, the usual, standard deck plus an addition card which is a Joker or Wild card.

Both Player and the Dealer will be dealt out 7 cards and the aim of the game is for the Player to arrange them into two hands, one containing five cards and one containing two cards, and then to win the game both of these hands must beat the Dealers hands.

Pai Gow Poker - How To Play

For a game of Pai Gow Poker to commence you will first need to place your initial wager onto the table and then click the start or the deal button, the Dealer then deals out 7 cards to both yourself and himself.

You now have to arrange your cards into two separate hands one must contain a five card hand and the other must be a two card hand, the five card hand must be ranked higher than the two card hand.

To make your life easier there is what is termed a House Ways button and by clicking on it the hands will automatically set both hands for you.

You will win the game if both of your two hands beats the Dealers, the game on the other hand will end in a tie and your stakes will be returned to you if one of your hands is higher than the Dealers and visa versa.

The Dealer will win and you will lose if the Dealers hands are both ranked higher than your hand, or he beats one of your hands and the other is the same as the Dealers other hand.

Pai Gow Poker - Strategy

The game of Pai Gow Poker is a very slow casino poker game to play with long winning streaks being very hard to come by, so a good strategy to avoid is doubling up your stake too often, as this can lead to you losing out in the long run, try and play for level stakes when possible to ensure a sure and steady game play.

Pai Gow Poker - Tips

1. Make full use of the House Ways button as this automatically sets the best hands out and saves you making any game play mistakes.

2. If you are playing at the casino with a bonus then check whether the game of Pai Gow Poker is allowed to be played with it as often casinos will not let it be played with bonus money or require you to play though the bonus on much higher play through terms and conditions.

3. Sometimes the game offers an additional side bet which gives you a range of bonus payouts, these can often payout some very generous amounts and offer some good wagering opportunities that can boost your payouts significantly, so do check whether you are permitted these bets and if so make sure you do indeed opt to wager on this side bet.
