Casino Games - Craps

User Rating: / 0

There are minimum and maximum stake levels in play on every Craps table and these particular Craps rules are displayed on a small sign prominently displayed on the Craps table.

Don't Come Bet, Come Bet, and an Odds Bet after the Point has been established.

The wagers you are permitted and not permitted to make at certain phases of the game are automatically installed into the online casino software, so you will not be able to place them at the wrong time!

The Craps rules also state that the Shooter must keep on rolling the dice until such a time that they either roll in a seven or make the Point, by repeating the total of their original throw.

The players take it in turn to become the Shooter in land based casinos, however as this is not possible when playing privately online the casino software will automatically throw the dice via the software and hence you are always the Shooter!

If you are new to the casino game of Craps then please spend a little time reading through the Craps Rules below as this will hopefully give you a much better understanding of how the game runs and operates.

The first Craps Rules you need to be aware of is that the game is played with two dice, and the whole game is played around the total of these two dice once they have been tossed by the dice Shooter.

When playing online a random number generate automatically chooses a random result of these two dice and this ensures that everything is above board and the game cannot be manipulated by either the casino or the player.

Craps Rules - Game Play

Once a new game of Craps begins then it is the object of the Shooter to toss the dice so that they reveal a number, made up of adding the two face up totals of each dice together.

The Craps rules stipulate that the two dice must hit the back wall of the Craps table for the toss of the dice to be a valid throw, if they do not then that throw is invalid and the dice must be thrown again.

The very first roll of the dice is called the Coming Out Roll, and it is here that the Shooter as per the Craps Rules is seeking to make a point.

The Craps rules stipulate that only the following numbers can be deemed to be classed as a point 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.

Once the point has been made then the Shooter must toss the dice again in the hope that he rolls this same number (point) again. The Shooter must try and avoid throwing in a seven at this phase of the game, if he does then the Point has not been established and the game is over.
