How To Play Roulette
One of the most popular casino games is Roulette, which has to be one of the easiest games to play, that is, once you understand how to play it! In this section of the website we shall look at how to play Roulette, and in no time at all you will be playing like a professional! The objective of the game of Roulette is to simply predict the outcome of the Croupier spinning a little white ball around the Roulette wheel, whichever number it lands on is deemed to be the winning number. There are lots of different betting opportunities available and different game play rules plus several different Roulette variants but most of them revolve around the same set of rules. Roulette Before you start to play you need to buy some chips from the Croupier, once you have placed your bankroll onto the area in front of the Croupier she will then count it, and then allocate you a chip colour and a chip value. You can often pick your own chip values, but the minimum and maximum will be displayed on the Roulette table. Each player has different colour betting chips on a Roulette table, this is simply to enable the Croupier to differentiate whose bets are whose. Once you have been given your stack or stacks of chips you are then good to go. There is only a small amount of time you can place your chips onto the Roulette table and this is once the Croupier has paid out all winning bets and removed losing bets from the previous game. Once the Croupier has removed the “dolly” from the previous games winning number on the layout then you can start to place your chips onto the table, never place wagers onto the table when this dolly is on the table or you are in for a good telling off! You are then permitted to place wagers until such a time as the Croupier says “no more bets please” the reason she says this is that probably totally un-noticed to yourself, she has started to spin the ball around the rim of the Roulette table and it is due to land into one of the numbered wells. To confirm her no more bets instruction she will then wave her hand sideways across the Roulette table, after this point no further bets can be placed onto the layout, anyone who tries too will have this bet removed, win or lose. Once all the ball stops and lands in one of the numbered wells she will then call out the winning number and the colour of the number, whilst placing a glass dolly onto the respective number on the table. Next she will remove all losing chips from the Roulette table and then start to pay out the winning wagers, she will do this by starting with the even money wagers (red/black, high/low etc) then the 2 to 1 wagers (the columns and number groupings) then work her way upto the highest paying bets which conclude with the straight up winning bets.
