Oryx, the supplier of online gaming content, announced that it has managed to expand to reach one of the vital strategic jurisdictions. The jurisdiction at hand is the newly regulated Swedish online iGaming market, alongside Mr. Green. The Bragg Gaming Group has stated that it has met all of the licensing requirements by the Swedish regulator to enter the Swedish market, as Sweden is one of the main and critical aspects of the continued growth ambitions of Oryx for the upcoming year.
The company chose to align itself with Mr. Green at the beginning of the year to get a flying start as the Spelinspektionen sets forth new regulations for the Swedish market and setting up its new licensing system. The company is going to deploy its entire gaming portfolio to Mr. Green, with plans in the works that would see its content distribution to a wide array of top online international operators in the upcoming few weeks. Oryx is going to provide a library of casino games and a selection of high-quality casinos titles from a wide array of sources. These sources will include Kalamba Games, Gamomat, and GivMe Games.
The Chief Executive Officer of Oryx Gaming, MatevzMazij, stated that Sweden is a big market that represents a massive opportunity for growth for Oryx Gaming. He also added that they are thrilled to venture off into the new market and that they believe that their games are an excellent fit for the regulated Swedish online iGaming market. He also added that they are expecting even more deployments with their international gaming operators.
Last month, Oryx Gaming and High 5 Games finally reached an agreement. The new deal is a content-based distribution deal that will enable the turnkey solutions provider, Oryx, to offer a wide array of premium slot machines to its operators.
The NYC organizations stressed that it was seeking a seasoned gaming solutions provider that will enable it to distribute its H5G games to major European markets. The company also added that its pipeline of games is going to provide all of the Oryx associated operating platforms with great hits.
Oryx is one of the many suppliers and gaming operators that rushed to enter the Swedish market. According to Spelinspektionen, the Swedish regulator, it has issued 116 licenses, with more than half that number for online casinos. The operators have been applying for these licenses since August of 2018, with the first license awarded on the 30th of November, ahead of the official opening of the market on the 1st day of January 2019. In addition to international operators and online casinos, Svenska Spel also managed to grab a trio of licenses for its gambling monopoly activities. They cover its Casino Cosmopol subsidiary, its land-based slot games and is lottery games. So far, a total of seventy-two operators got licenses, which means that many of them are active in more than just one sector.
