Pragmatic Play Offers its Portfolio in the Swedish Market

Pragmatic Play, the Malta-based internet gaming company is going to be able to offer its vast array of content, live in Sweden with Svenska Spel Casino and Sport. It will be able to do that according to the terms of the new deal with the online casino. Pragmatic Play is going to provide its full content of games to the operator, allowing its Swedish customers to access titles such as Da Vinci’s treasures, Wolf Gold, the multi-award winning slot, and Great Rhino to name a few.

Svenska Spel Sport and Casino Comments on the Deal

The Head of the Svenska Spel Company, Jonas Nygren, stated that they are delighted with this new deal. He added that Pragmatic Play has such a high-quality portfolio of slots and other games that are full of innovations and that they are happy to offer such content to their Swedish players. He added that they are looking ahead to this exciting and fruitful partnership to go forward. It is the first year that the state-owned operator is going to offer casino games, and this deal makes the gaming provider, Pragmatic Play, the primary provider to roll out its content and slot machines with Svenska Spel.

COO Of Pragmatic Play Comments on the Partnership

The Chief Commercial Office of Pragmatic Play, Melissa Summerfield, praised the new deal of the organization, following a successful twelve months of expansion with the likes of Kindred and PokerStars. She stated that the company is looking forward to continuing on the strong momentum that they generated last year and that partnering with a reputable operator in a new regulated market is an exciting event.

She added that the Swedish players have a reputation for enjoying entertaining and engaging slot machines. Therefore, they are certainly looking forward to supplying the players and Svenska Spel Sport and Casino with a wide array of content. Such agreement comes after another strand of Pragmatic Play expansion, as the provider extended its portfolio by acquiring VSoftCo, the virtual sports gaming provider.

The recent deal is the second significant acquisition of the company, after buying Extreme Live Gaming, the casino provider from the Novomatic Group in 2018. The Chief Business of Development of the company, Yossi Barzelt, stated that they are quite glad for completing such acquisition, which is an agreement that is going to broaden their multi-product strategy to strengthen the position as one of the premier companies in the iGaming industry.

More Licenses Issued in the Swedish Market

The Swedish regulator has issued three more gambling licenses. These licenses are to FT Diva, Premiergaming and Bell Casino. Premiergaming is going to offer online betting and gambling services, and this new license covers plenty of its Pronto casino websites. As for FT Diva, it is going to include the land-based commercial casino gaming in Sweden. As for Bell Casino, its license would allow it to offer gaming services for players on ships. Following these licenses, the confirmed number of new permits in the Swedish market is 69.
